THE SPACE: This 3-bedroom mountain cabin sits on 10 private acres in the Idaho mountains, 8 minutes from downtown McCall. It's the kind of place where you actually disconnect with no neighbors in sight, just trees, trails, and a sky full of stars when the sun goes down. Note: Owner lives onsite, in a separate cabin.

The cabin sleeps six across three bedrooms: one king, two queens. Two full bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. The pellet stove in the living area keeps the whole space warm and cozy, and central heat backs it up. There's no air conditioning, but at this elevation you won't miss it.

THE OUTDOORS: Step outside and the covered patio has a hot tub ready year-round. After a long day on the trails or the mountain, it's exactly what you need.

When the sun goes down, the fire pit area comes alive with string lights, built for long nights with good company. And if you want to take the evening a different direction, fire up the outdoor movie screen. Not every cabin has one. This one does.

Plenty of parking for trucks, trailers, and side-by-sides. The 10 acres give you room to breathe.

THE LOCATION: Bear Basin trails are right out the door, one of Idaho's best trail systems for mountain biking, hiking, and side-by-side riding. Brundage Mountain is a short drive for skiing and snowboarding in winter. Payette National Forest surrounds you. And McCall's restaurants, shops, breweries, and Payette Lake are just 8 minutes away by car.

This cabin works in every season. Summer for the trails and lake. Winter for the slopes and snow. Fall for the aspens and the quiet. Spring for when you just need to get out.
